    The third law

You can approach absolute zero. You can never reach it.

Every KELVIN is backed by USDG sitting in the pool at the floor price. Price can fall toward the floor, but the treasury is standing there buying before it arrives. Each time it buys, it burns what it bought and the floor steps up for everyone left. It has stepped up times since launch. It has never stepped down.

What you're looking at above is not a chart. It is the market: every particle is a token, heat is price above the floor, and the crystal at the bottom is the part the treasury can buy back today. Trades land in it within a second of confirming.

    The thermometer

Temperature is the distance between price and floor. 0 K is the floor. A buy heats the gas, a sell cools it, and the number at the top of the page moves with every trade.

    The crystal

The frozen lattice is backing. Every particle in it is a token the treasury can buy at the floor today. When the floor advances, a new row freezes. At 0 K everything is crystal.

    The toll

Fees follow the temperature. Selling into the cold costs more. Buying into the heat costs more. Near equilibrium it is nearly nothing. Every toll goes into the treasury and raises the floor.

Floor, backing, treasury, toll: every number is read from the chain. Where a number here disagrees with the chain, the chain is right.
